Makes, models & versions
Build the catalogue of vehicles you deal in.
The vehicle catalogue is organised in three levels that flow into each other:
- Make - the manufacturer (e.g. Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata).
- Model - a model under a make (e.g. Swift under Maruti Suzuki).
- Version - a variant of a model (e.g. VXI, ZXI).
When you add a vehicle, you pick the make first, which filters the models, which filters the versions - so keeping this catalogue tidy makes data entry fast and accurate.
Add a make
- Go to Master → Makes and tap Add.
- Choose the type of vehicle (e.g. Car) and enter the make name. Optionally upload a logo.
- Save.
Add a model
- Go to Master → Models and tap Add.
- Choose the make it belongs to, enter the model name, and save.
Add a version
- Go to Master → Versions and tap Add.
- Choose the model it belongs to, enter the version name, and save.

Tip
Add makes before models, and models before versions - each level needs its parent to exist first.
