Insurance policies & companies
Set up the insurance policies and policy companies you record on vehicles.
VehicleERP lets you record insurance details on each vehicle. Two lists power this:
- Policy companies — the insurers (e.g. Tata AIG).
- Policies — the policy types you record.
Add a policy company
- Go to Master → Policy Companies and tap Add.
- Enter the company name and save.
Add a policy
- Go to Master → Policies and tap Add.
- Enter the policy name.
- Choose whether to show the policy where relevant.
- Save.

Using these on a vehicle
When you add or edit a vehicle, you select the policy, policy company, and policy date. To attach the actual insurance document image, use the Documents section on the vehicle.
