Uploading documents & insurance
Attach the RC book, insurance copy, and other documents to a vehicle.
Keep every important paper for a vehicle in one place by uploading it against the vehicle. This makes it easy to find the RC book, insurance copy, or transfer papers when you need them.
Before you begin
You must have recorded the purchase before uploading documents.
How to upload a document
- On the vehicle's Detail page, go to the Documents section.
- Choose the document type (e.g. RC Book, Insurance Copy). Add document types under Master data if needed.
- Select the image or scan to upload.
- Set the document date.
- Tap Save.
You can upload as many documents as you need. Each appears in the vehicle's document list.

Insurance details
Basic insurance information — the policy, policy company, and policy date — is stored directly on the vehicle when you add or edit it. Use the Documents section here to attach the actual insurance copy as an image.
